So I made a greasemonkey script that lets me reorder the City dropdown selector. It was a huge pain in the neck but it works. It also puts a little icon of the resource in the dropdown too. I'll update this post if and when I feel like it's ready to be shared.
I made it because I have two marble colonies, and it really annoyed me how I couldn't grouped them together. Was it worth the time and effort? Probably not.
It follows all the guidelines for greasemonkey scripts. I'm posting it mainly to see if there's demand for it. If there's enough I'll put more effort into cleaning it up. And it needs a lot of cleanup!

I have been wanting just such a script for the same reasons. However, I wouldn't put too much time into it. I've been too lazy to write it, so I obviously don't want it that bad. But it would be nice.

I recently released a newer version. Link is: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/27630 (Link should be ok. It was approved June 5th 2008, 5:25am but I was too lazy to post it then)

I'm using the tool set, but for some reason the city reorder doesn't work. I had the older version, and I found the city reorder stuff in the "options" page and it was fine. Then once I upgraded to the newer version, there seems to be no place to do the reordering. I have the script box checked, but I still see no place for this. This is happening on two different computers in two different locations. One is running windows XP, the other Vista Home Premium.
You're not going crazy. There's a bug in the new version (thanks for pointing this out!). I'll either revert to the old version in the next release of the Blank Canvas Ikariam Tools or try to figure out what's going on in the v2 of the city select reorder script.
