Seeing as there is only one working CR converter, I thought I'd put myself to some use and spent a few hours working on this.

What will it do?

It will convert and entered Combat Report into a nicely formatted BB Code format ready to be posted on the forums.

How does it work?

You download the attached .zip file, and extract the .jar file. The .jar is a Java Executable file, so it should work on all platforms (note only tested on XP and Vista).
Double click the .jar file
Just copy all the CR text from "Outcome of the battle" to "Detailed battle report" into the top box, and then click convert!

Note!

This is still a very early project, it only works for land battles and not Sea battles. Also this is only tested with FireFox, and I know it won't work with IE. This is because of the way that IE parses pages, eventually I hope to work on a fix, but its not on the priority list. You must also have Java installed on your computer (installed on most machines by default).

Future Features

Eventually this will have a Sea Battle converter, and it will be able to produce reports in different formats (bbcode / html / xhtml). It will also be avaliable in different languages depending on help and how much time I have. I'll also work on some method of choosing colours.

Its easy enough to adapt it, but it won't be done until a few days before 0.3.0 hits live servers

heya mate, im having some problems with ur converter in .3
mainly on converting unit types and loses.. i copy and paste all thats needed, and by default if the battle was big (more units of different types), it just removes some
I.E. :
