Unit Formatter

A little script that I spent about 2 hours coming up with to save me about 30 seconds :)

When trying to co-ordinate attacks, you inevitably get asked "So what troops do you have?"... There is no real easy way to just copy and paste a list of the troops that you have garrisoned in your town, so you're stuck typing out 'Slingers 8000, phalanx 5, SGs 28" etc... which, if your alliance is always at war like mine, can get very tiresome, very quickly.

So, this little util will format your troop or ship counts from the Barracks view, Shipyard view or City Military view into a little textbox, so you can just "Copy and Paste" it into your IRC/chatroom/IM/Circular Message etc...

A suggestion to expand on this script would be to give the total armed force a player has in a separate box below the one you already provide since during alliance war planning discussions total number of units are often mentioned (as it stands I use your script and add the unit values together.)
This added function could be implemented after the player has clicked through all troops in town/ships windows (no added server load/page requests) to function a bit like the multi-page CR formatter script (I am not a coder or I would have looked at both scripts to try to combine features - I looked at the source code and realized I have a ways to go before attempting anything like this myself!)

@forempire: if the information is available on the same page then it is possible yes. ive never had occupying or garrisoned troops so i cant say if this is the case.

if the information is on a seperate page from the information already used it is still possible, just wouldn't be as easy to use and there might be problems with "out of-date" information etc.

Is it possible to have something like this for the Generals view , so that the general of an alliance is able to provide troop count of members in the alliance, more efficiently ?

i've made a script that exports the generals data into excel (its waiting to be approved)

since you can't have html tables in in-game messages formatting it is rather difficult.
i could probably make it give you a bbcode formatted one for use on the forum (or another external forum). still need to wait for approval though :\
